Amy Nutman

Amy Nuttman

Amy graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Business degree and a minor in Spanish. Her passion for event planning began as far back as she can remember but came to fruition in 2003 during graduate school when she interned for Shanti, a non-profit organization in San Francisco, helping plan and organize events to raise funds for individuals living with life-threatening illnesses. After graduating with her MBA in 2005 and moving back home to the Pacific Northwest, she found herself in the non-profit sector once again. Amy joined the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oregon working in the Development & Communications Department as well as stepping in as Procurement Chair for their annual Food, Wine & Wishes gala auction. While she loved working with such an incredible organization, ultimately her dream was to own her own business, allowing her the freedom to work from home as needed and raise a family, while simultaneously striving to achieve her professional goals.

After delving head-first into the unique and exciting world of weddings, and meeting numerous professionals and friends along the way, she knew this was the direction she wanted to head. In 2007 an amazing opportunity presented itself and she took over Blush Bridal. Five years later she is still passionate about helping couples experience their dream wedding by providing them with excellent service coupled with a fun, professional and relaxed approach. The best part of being a wedding planner is working closely with couples from early in their engagement and seeing their vision to come to life on their big day. Amy feels incredibly blessed by her family, friends, and dedicated team! She is greatly anticipating the arrival of her second baby, a little boy, any day! During her spare time she enjoys traveling both around the Pacific Northwest as well as around the globe. She is known for being spontaneous, a quality she inherited from her father who was always on the go!

Christie Wilson

Christie Wilson

Christie has been planning weddings for over 10 years and has been a part of Blush since the beginning. She founded the business in 2003 shortly after graduating from Whitworth University with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She is especially passionate about event design and loves working with her clients to help clarify their visions and flawlessly bring them to life. Coupled with an acute attention to detail and love affair with checking off boxes, she has truly found her niche. When she is not planning events, she loves spending time with her husband and 2 young children, traveling, and organizing anything she cans in labeled and alphabetized storage containers, of course. Christie's bright smile and cheerful personality make her a perfect fit for wedding planning and she has definitely made a name for herself in the professional wedding world here in Portland.

Sidarany Phillips

Sidarany Phillips

Sidarany joined Blush in February of 2006. It was a natural fit considering Sidarany's previous experience in event planning, particularly in the areas of retail and hospitality, and her passion for weddings. Sidarany enjoys working hand-in-hand with her clients to ensure that their big day is as unique and special as the couple themselves. She is committed to providing exceptional service, expert guidance throughout the planning process and seamless execution. Sidarany, a graduate of Seattle University, currently lives in Beaverton with her husband and daughter. When she is not working, Sidarany enjoys good food, travel and spending time with her family. She brings not only professional expertise to the Blush team but also an easy going and upbeat approach to helping couples plan their big day.

Susan Hula

Susan Hula

Susan joined the Blush team in 2010 after 14 years in the event industry. After founding and successfully running her own coordination company, Ultraviolet Events, in 2004, she decided to change directions and join the team at Blush. After growing up in Connecticut, Susan felt the need to try something different, so she headed to Texas for college. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Southwest Texas State University. While there, she found her love for events after being the Cancer Bowl Director for Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity- yes-it is a co-ed Fraternity!

Fast forward a few years, Susan began volunteering to help with weddings and events in various locations and capacities, gathering valuable skills and contacts. Finally the time came to do this full time, and she has been doing so for 16 years. In those few spare moments Susan loves to hang with her kids and spend time at the gym. Next challenge is the Warrior Dash!

Susan's dedication to her clients is evident in every wedding she is a part of, and her calm and capable approach put her clients at ease so they can relax and truly enjoy their special day. Professionals and couples alike can't say enough about how great she is to work with!

Annmarie graduated from Vanguard University where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Business. After college she went into social work where she had the opportunity to plan various fundraising events, which ultimately sparked her interest in event planning. She loves working alongside couples as they put together the details of their special day, making their planning experience fun and memorable. Outside of weddings, Annmarie loves fashion, design and traveling. She is married and has an adorable son, Judah, and is expecting a little girl in August. Her creative eye and fashion-forward approach are a great asset to her clients as she helps bring their vision to life!

Kiza Miller

Kiza Miller

Kiza has been part of the Blush team for 6 years. She started during college as an assistant coordinator and has consistently showed passion as well as professionalism in every occasion. Kiza is originally from the Portland area, growing up a little less than an hour away from the city. After planning numerous activities and outings for her friends over the years, it seemed natural for her to set her sights on a career within the event industry. Kiza went to the University of Denver where she received her Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration; majoring in Hospitality Management with an emphasis in Event Coordination. During her senior year of college she was the public events intern with INVESCO Field at Mile High, a division of the Denver Broncos.

At her weddings Kiza loves stepping back during the reception to watch everyone enjoying themselves, knowing that she was able to help the couple's dream come true. In addition, her personal favorite moment is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time! Kiza's friendly, calm and can-do personality make her a great asset to the Blush team.
