I was the bride who thought hiring a wedding planner/coordinator would be silly and a huge waste of money. I plan large corporate events... a wedding would be (ahem) cake. Enter a slightly kooky florist, a caterer that wouldn't return emails/phone calls for the life of me, a DJ who was nice enough but didn't quite "hear" me when we spoke, a very crazy difficult soon-to-be group of in-laws with lots of regulation (grandma can't sit in front of X or next to Y,... etc) and a constant barrage of emails, and a bride who felt VERY strongly that you don't ask your guests to "help" at your wedding, you tell them to have fun!
So, enters Erin at Blush. We hired Blush about a month before our wedding for the "Day Of" package, which is such a misleading name. Erin was in contact as soon as we booked Blush. She scheduled an initial consultation where she grilled us with great questions, things we hadn't even thought about yet, and created a "Day of Timeline" for us. She reviewed vendor contracts, pulled together contact info for everyone involved in the wedding, confirmed vendor arrival times, set-up needs, requested any outstanding balance invoices, etc. She was in constant contact up through our wedding date.
I know, I know, most people are probably thinking, "I'm organized, I could do all that." And you could. You could also answer everyone's questions on the day of, and carry your own emergency kit for when the florist forgets to put pins in the corsages, and be the contact person for the caterer when, at 10:45 pm, they want to know if they should open another case of wine, and show your MIL where the handicap access door is when grandpa is ready to go home at 10 pm. You could do that. But I can pretty much guarantee you'd prefer to be (undistrubed) on the dance floor or chatting with your guests.
I think Blush really paid for itself when it came to laying down the law. The venue, DJ and caterer were really good at telling me, "Well you could do it that way, but we've done that and it doesnt look nice," or, "You don't really want to have it there, its just so much easier if its here." Which may be true, but we're paying a lot of money for this shindig and we want it here. Right here. But of course, they're the experts, so I just went with the flow. Erin was able to come in and say, "Hey, you're dealing with a big shot here. You'll do it how my bride wants it done, and I'll ensure its right." Except she said it in a much sweeter way because she's adorable and sweet, but still hardcore. Erin was also my go to. My groom and I played dumb the entire day of and just told eveyone, "No clue, ask Erin." And they did and it was amazing!
I spent my entire wedding day with my friends and family, catching up, having fun, dancing... not directing or coordinating. Erin did that. I was a relaxed and happy bride without a care in the world. EVERYONE that came to our wedding said it was the best they've been to. Flawless. Went off without a hitch. Erin is a rockstar.
My only regret? Not booking Blush as soon as we got engaged.

I do not even know where to begin, that is how amazing and flawless Amy is with Blush Bridal. She single handedly made my wedding a glowing success and John and I will never forget her. She thought of all of the details and even allowed us to use her cake cutting set from her own wedding since we did not have one! She is so selfless and was always available when we needed her. Amy was a perfect liaison between our vendors and us and made sure that we did not have to deal with any issues. Amy went above and beyond her role in making sure that our wedding was perfect and above and beyond her contract as well. I will tell all of my friends about her and I hope that you decide to use her as well. I highly recommend Blush Bridal and I know that you will be thrilled with their experience, professionalism and attention to detail. They are 100% amazing!

My experience working with Amy and Blush Bridal was nothing but the best. I started by meeting with 3 different wedding planners. There are many reasons I went with Amy, but the first main thing that caught my attention was that she was adamant that whatever our budget for the wedding was that it would be beautiful and perfect.
I had a very long engagement and thus a long time to plan my wedding... throughout the entire process Amy was there for me to bounce ideas off of and offer suggestions. This was really important to me because despite my wedding being over a year away (at the beginning of our relationship) she made me feel very important. While others thought it was silly for me to be planning some details so much in advance, Amy saw the importance of this to me and helped facilitate and made my planning possible.
When we hired Amy my parents were very skeptical that we needed a planner at all. But as the months got closer, and we started giving Amy all the contracts and the remaining to-do lists they started coming around. At our final meeting a week before the wedding my Dad even said "I'm SO glad you hired her, we couldn't have done it without her. She thinks of everything and is amazing!" That was a big step for him and shows how much Amy impressed him. And it's true, she did think of all the little details that I didn't think of (which is saying a lot too - because I pretty much thought of everything!).
Knowing that she was going to contact all the vendors and make sure everything would happen just as it was suppose to gave me a huge sense of relief. She also did such an amazing job tying up all my loose ends and finishing the tedious things that I left on my to-do list for the last minute. Not only were all of those things taken care of (like ordering some ribbon and tracking down the impossible trumpet and organ player), everything was done in such a timely manner!
If anything on my wedding day, or leading up to the day, went wrong - I had no idea because Amy was there to handle and troubleshoot it all. Everything turned out so beautiful because of her help planning and also because of her coordinating the weeks before and the day of the wedding. I couldn't imagine the stress I would have had leading up to the wedding if it wasn't for her great services.

Amy and crew were fantastic! She was so helpful with the pre-day of errand running and tracking down of last minute details. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at my parent's house, so I traded her out of the actual rehearsal (since the space came with a wedding coordinator for the ceremony) and she set up and coordinated the caterers and rehearsal dinner folks for us while we were at the rehearsal. It made things so much simpler. It really was fantastic to have someone there who was looking out for the details while we just had fun the last 2 days. I highly recommend Blush. Thanks Amy!

We had such an incredible experience with Amy Nuttman, the owner of Blush Bridal. We only booked her for day of coordination, but Amy turned out to be an invaluable asset throughout our whole planning process. Our wedding day would not have been the amazing and successful day it was without her.
Amy really impressed us right from the start. The original venue we booked (without her help) unfortunately fell through, and I was in a panic to find a new venue that would hopefully fit most of our wishes. Amy surpassed our expectations and found the perfect place that ended up being so much nicer than our original venue. AND we were able to keep our wedding date- a Saturday in August!
We couldn't be more happy or pleased with Amy. She was always very responsive, flexible, and so well informed when addressing any of our needs. Her detail-oriented and highly organized nature put us at ease during the stressful moments, not to mention that we were doing all our planning from the east coast. She was an enthusiastic supporter of us and our wedding day, and made us feel like we were her only clients.
Our wedding day was a big hit with all our guests that many said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Such a wonderful compliment to hear as a bride, and we know that it was due in large part to the tireless efforts of Amy. My husband and I also had the freedom to just have fun and enjoy the day with the confidence knowing that Amy had everything under control. It was such a pleasure getting to know her over the nine months that we worked with her. We are really going to miss her!

I found Blush Bridal on-line - searching for consultation as an out of town mother of the bride looking for planning support. From the initial phone meeting to the first in-person meeting to the wedding day, the service was just what we needed. Blush provided three contacts each for the major vendors and scheduled the interviews with the vendors. The vendors were professional and within budget; the result was a terrific photographer, florist and source for invitations and other wedding accessories. Blush consulted with us as we worked through all of the details up to the wedding day - answering our questions and finding additional suppliers as we made those choices. Blush worked hard at the rehearsal continuing to manage many details and on the wedding day. We were so lucky to have chosen Blush Bridal!!

Blush Bridal was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend them to help you plan and coordinate your special day. They offer several different types of packages for your pre-wedding and/or day of event so whether you need assistance for just the day of, or a little bit more help to coordinate your wedding day they can help you with that. I had a destination wedding, but I partnered with Amy and Blush Bridal Consultation to help plan my post-wedding reception celebration. Because my needs were slightly different, Amy worked with me to help me design a package that was right for my needs.
I would like to thank Blush Bridal, and Amy for making my wedding celebration perfect. The vendors Amy suggested I work with were top notch, fit within my budget range, and provided excellent services. Amy was my rock! She was there for me every step of the way, every question, every concern etc. She helped take a ton of stress off of me and handled all of the follow-up with all of the vendors and took care of everything after the event was over.
