Attention all brides! Make sure and check out what is sure to be a fabulous afternoon of pampering at The Wedding Lounge! This Sunday, March 6th from 11am – 4pm three of Portland’s finest hair and makeup professionals will be on site to offer mini consultations for wedding day beauty. AJ Lane, of Portland Hair & Makeup, Jennifer Walker of Face Body Beauty, and Katherine Sealy of Event Cosmetics will all be available for mini facials, brow shaping, eyelash and lip color trials, updo trials, eye makeup trials, and much more! Each appointment will last 20 minutes.
The pampering will continue with treats from Le Cookie Monkey, handcrafted chocolates from A Yen for Chocolate, delightful nibbles courtesy of Crave Catering, your favorite bubbly beverage, and other surprises! Art of Joy Photography’s Amy Prutch will be on hand to photograph the event and all its beautiful ladies!
Suggested donation is $15.00 and will need to be made within 24 hours of scheduling your appointment in order to confirm your space and consult choice. Please include your phone number, consult choice, and any questions you have. We will reply within 24 hours with available times and payment information.
Come out and enjoy a fun afternoon with the girls and support Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation through its Pink Envelope Project. Not only will you be supporting a wonderful cause but you’ll be set for a night on the town. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

Erin & Lance are such a sweet couple and so very much in love. They are enjoying the last few weeks before their March wedding at Waverley Country Club and we are thrilled to be a part of their special day! They have a great lineup of professionals and are fortunate to be working with the talented Craig Mitchelldyer of Craig Mitchelldyer Photography. Last November they spent an afternoon in downtown Portland’s South Park Blocks frolicking in the beautiful leaves that are so abundant here in the fall, and they made for a very dramatic back-drop for this photogenic pair. Jennifer Walker of Face Body Beauty: Genuine beauty
I couldn’t be more excited for this week’s post since it highlights my dear friend Jennifer Walker and her talented team of artists at Face Body Beauty! Jennifer and I first met three years ago at an open house for Zenith Vineyard, just a few short months after it opened. 
We were both in the restroom freshening up and before long we struck up a conversation and immediately hit it off. It didn’t take long to discover that we both LOVE fall, country music, are married to fire fighters we adore, and run small businesses we are passionate and excited about! Having recently moved to the Willamette Valley, but working primarily in Portland, I knew very few people in the wedding industry in Salem so getting to know Jennifer on both a personal and professional level was a lot of fun! 
She is warm and inviting and the kind of person everyone loves to be around, especially on one of the biggest days of their life. I remember thinking that night that whenever I got married I wanted Jennifer to be a part of my wedding and before long she was…and at Zenith no less! Jennifer is truly an expert artist with both makeup and hair. 
Not only did Jennifer attend the prestigious Euro Institute of Skincare, she is an accredited MAC Pro Arist as well. She started her business during college while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Business, and now has a dedicated and talented team of 5 other artists whose diverse yet complimentary styles are the perfect fit for any bride and her entourage. 
These ladies are constantly participating in hands-on workshops in order to keep up on the latest styles and techniques to offer a wide-variety of options to brides and models alike. When you hire any of the ladies at Face Body Beauty you won’t just get your hair and makeup done, you’ll laugh and have a great time during the process…they really do LOVE what they do and it shows. 
In addition to weddings, they also share a passion for beautifying ladies for boudoir or fashion photo shoots, and they will put you at ease and make you feel sexy and confident so you can relax and enjoy this unique and fun experience. They have a network of fantastic photographers who they team with and these photos make a great gift for that special someone as a wedding gift or any special occasion.
