Back to blogging!

After taking a much-needed hiatus from blogging (adjusting to life with two little ones and running a business), I’ve decided to forgo a bit more sleep (not that there’s much to spare as it is…ha!) and focus on writing weekly blog posts. I promise to do my best and at the very least every two weeks. Since I didn’t personally coordinate this past season since I gave birth to my son in June, and therefore can’t speak much for the details of these weddings, I will mainly post photos or video, which we all know is the best (and most interesting) way to experience a wedding after the fact. I also want to add that I am SOOO proud of my team of amazingly talented ladies and am excited to share their hard work as well as that of a number of fantastic professionals in the industry who we had the pleasure of working with this season. Last weekend our team got together over brunch to celebrate another fun and successful year (our 10th!) of weddings, and it was a reminder of how proud I am of these wonderful ladies. That said, please follow our continued journey as we relive some of the fabulous Blush weddings of 2012!

Blush wins Bride’s Choice Awards from Premier Bride!

Last week we got word from the publisher of Premier Bride Magazine, Paula Nelson, that we won Best “Bridal Consultant” for Oregon and Southwest Washington.  They ran a contest over the past six months and only brides and their bridal party were allowed to vote.  What a surprise!  As always, this is a real honor and we are so grateful to our wonderful clients for voting for us.  Thank you ALL so much!  We love what we do!!

My oh my it’s been an eternity since I logged into the blog let alone had time to write a post.  Yowzers!  The busy wedding season managed to sneak up on all of us as it does every year and just like that it’s autumn.  It’s amazing how fast the summers in the Pacific Northwest fly by!  However, I must say I welcome the change of seasons, rain and all.  Some of my favorite past times happen in autumn.  The beautiful leaves, pumpkin spice lattes, candles, wearing scarves, and curling up next to a cozy fire.  Now that it’s that time of year I will get back on track blogging about some of the fabulous weddings we were fortunate enough to be a part of this summer.  There were so many memorable moments and gorgeous photos to document the day that you won’t want to miss out.  Check back in the coming weeks as we get back on track updating you on what’s new here at Blush.  In the meantime, enjoy the start of the new season!
